Everything you need to know about creating cinematic 3D animated route flyovers, importing GPS activities, planning road trips, customizing vehicles, and exporting 60fps videos.
1. Export your GPS track file (.GPX, .TCX, or .FIT) from your favorite sports platform or smartwatch.
2. Drag and drop the file directly onto RouteCine's upload zone in the "Athlete" mode, or click to browse files.
3. RouteCine automatically parses your GPS data, calculates total distance, elevation gain, and duration, and renders realistic 3D topography along your route.
4. Fine-tune your camera angle, vehicle icon, and milestones, then click "Export MP4 Video" to generate your video.
• Strava: Open Strava on desktop, navigate to your Activity page, click the three-dots menu (...) in the left panel, and select "Export GPX".
• Garmin Connect: Open your activity, click the Settings gear icon (⚙️) in the upper right, and choose "Export to GPX" or "Export Original".
• Apple Watch / Apple Health: Use mobile companion apps like HealthFit or WorkOutDoors to export standard .GPX or .FIT files directly to iCloud or files.
